Professional Mission

My mission as a nutrition and dietetics graduate student is to promote preventative health by harnessing the power of food as both nourishment and a unifying force. I believe that food is essential not only for sustaining life, but also for fostering connection among individuals, families, and cultures. Guided by evidence-based practice, I am committed to advancing public health through education, advocacy, and compassionate care that empowers individuals to make informed, sustainable choices that support lifelong wellness.

As I work toward becoming a registered dietitian, I aim to provide individualized, culturally sensitive medical nutrition therapy that respects each person’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. My mission is to integrate scientific knowledge with a holistic understanding of the person, recognizing that preventative healthcare is most effective when grounded in empathy, accessibility, and collaboration. Through this approach, I strive to help people cultivate healthier relationships with food while supporting communities in building a stronger foundation for long-term well-being.
